Root Canal Therapy

A “root canal” or endodontic therapy is process used to help save a tooth that may otherwise need to be extracted. The nerve of the tooth is removed from the canal inside the root and replaced with a sterilized filling material. Root canal therapy for an infected tooth can be necessary for a number of different reasons including deep decay, large fillings, faulty crowns, fractures or trauma.
